GREATER THINGS

John 1:50

"You will see greater things than these."

Dearly beloved, the Lord wants to show His people GREATER THINGS than they have seen ever before. He is a God who will do a NEW THING and starts it now (Is.43:19).

Expect something greater not the smaller of the past.

(Read John. 11)- During the ministry of Jesus, His friend named Lazarus of Bethany was sick and the message was passed to Jesus, who was little far from Bethany. Before Jesus reached Bethany Lazarus died and he was buried. The sisters of Lazarus sent this message to bring Jesus to heal their brother out of sickness (vs.21,32). They knew that Jesus had healed the blind, deaf, dumb, lepers, etc. but Jesus wanted to show them Greater Things than a healing. He performed a greater miracle. He came near to the tomb of Lazarus and cried out with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth and he that was dead came forth. They expected healing but He gave him life.

Expect greater things because He has promised to do so. The Great God will do greater things in our lives.
